This course examines the construction of social meaning associated
with mediated messages as well as the range of uses and consequences
of exposure to mediated messages in individuals, groups,
organizations, and society.
This course counts toward Social and Historical Studies distribution
requirements in the College of Arts and Sciences. It may, or may
