Description: The main objective of this course is to expose students
to both classical and contemporary theories of crime causation. We
will first review different approaches to defining and measuring
crime. We will then survey several theories that attempt to explain
crime, while also presenting the historical, political, and
empirical trends related to this theory development.

Class meeting:  Monday and Wednesday, 12:20-1:10
