P200 | 26631 | William Pridemore

TuTh 1:00-2:15pm

The main objective of this course is to expose students to both
classical and contemporary theories of crime causation. We will
first review different approaches to defining and measuring crime.
We will then survey several theories that attempt to explain crime,
while also presenting the historical, political, and empirical
trends related to this theory development.
