V 519 Database Management Systems (3 cr.)

This course provides students an in-depth knowledge of database
design and management in public organizations. The students create a
conceptual, logical, and physical design of databases; build models
of data required by users with modeling formalisms and computer-
aided software engineering tools; and design queries using leading
database software packages.
