Section 26807 / Kramer

P: CLAS C206 or FINA A206. A survey of the art and archaeology of the
prehistoric Aegean, ca. 3000-1100 B.C., with emphasis on the art and
society of the palatial civilizations of Minoan Crete and Mycenaean
Greece. We will cover a selection of sites and monuments of painting,
sculpture, architecture, and the minor arts of the Aegean world of
the Bronze Age, and pay special attention to the development of
complex societies, administration, and writing. (A&H)
