This course introduces computational approaches to the study of
cognition. Students will develop their computer programming skills,
learning to write programs that simulate cognitive processes and run
experiments with human subjects. Much of the course will center on
a simulated world in which simple agents live and interact; within
this world, specific programming projects will address perception,
action, learning, and evolution.
