East Asian Languages and Cultures | Third Year Japanese 2 (graduate sections)
J534 | 13583-13587 | Matsubara, Misako

This course open to graduates only.

This course meets with EALC-J 302.

J534 is a continuation of J533 and uses the same textbook. Students
will continue to develop the four skills (speaking, listening,
reading, and writing) as well as cultural proficiency, but greater
emphasis will be placed on reading.

The class meets five times a week, and all classes will be conducted
in Japanese. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, students will
attend a large lecture session where new material is introduced, and
on Tuesdays and Thursdays, students will attend a small drill
session to practice what you learned in the lecture.

Grading will be based on lecture attendance, drill performance,
homework assignments, quizzes, tests, exams (oral and written), and
any other additional assigned work.
