Education | Religious Dilemmas in Modern Education
U212 | 34204 | John Summerlot

Day and Time: Thursday, 5:30-8
Room: Willkie C111

This course is designed to engage students in a discussion of the
current religious issues that are affecting many levels of American
education. While the texts available strongly link this discussion
to issues of Christian nature, the in class portions will also
include issues of other faith (and non-faith) traditions. This
course is designed to cover basic information about a broad range of
topics in this field but will also include discussion of source
bias/motivation since works without ulterior motives that cover this
area are rare. Classes will be multi-media based and include videos,
podcasts, discussion, small group activities, OnCourse, and
occasionally a lecture.
