Introduction to historical and contemporary feminists. Critical
focus is placed on criteria by which attributes of identifiable
feminist discourses and their contexts may be evaluated. Disputes
among feminist theorists with regard to the pertinence of
differences ordained by sexuality, race, class, ethnicity, and other
political and philosophical adherence emerge as central themes for
appraisal.
