Introduces the basics of waterfall ice climbing in a top rope
situation. Topics covered include safety, gear selection, movement on
ice, and
perfecting tool and crampon placements. Highly experience-based course
where students will actively participate to learn the ice climbing,
belaying skills, genuine reflection, and Leave No Trace ethics.
