This course provides
intensive training in classical Arabic. Emphasis is placed
on the accurate reading and translation of classical texts, their
grammatical and stylistic features, and the use of modern and
classical lexical. The course also includes a survey of relevant
bibliographic and secondary sources. Variable topic; may be
repeated for credit.
