The purpose of this course is to introduce students to developmental
cognitive neuroscience as an area of research, as well as provide an
overview of current issues in DCN.  This will be accomplished
through reading and discussing primary research articles: both
reviews and experimental reports.   We will discuss topics such as:
Early Brain development; Methodologies in DCN; Perceptual
development: Cognitive development; Memory; Reading and Writing
development: and Educational issues.  Discussions will include
development of both  typically and atypically developing
populations.
