Proseminar II: SOCIOLOGY AS A VOCATION
This proseminar is designed for first-year graduate students who
have completed at least one semester of coursework. The main purpose
of the course is to introduce students to faculty research and
teaching interests in order to acclimate students to the breadth of
intellectual agendas that you can take advantage of during your
graduate career. The class is graded on a pass/fail basis and there
are just two requirements that you must meet in order to pass.
First, you are expected to attend ALL seminar sessions. Second, you
are expected to be an ACTIVE participant in the seminar sessions.
