E 422 Urban Forest Management (3 cr.)

Originally an outgrowth of arboriculture, urban forestry now
encompasses the broader concepts of managing the trees, forests and
other natural resources of cities for ecological, economic and
social benefits. Lectures, discussions and field projects will be
supplemented by outside speakers. IUB and Bloomington will be the
field laboratory.
