Gender Studies | Gender in Transition
G450 | 17381 | Stryker
This course is intended for upper-division students who have a
strong foundation in feminist theory, LGBT history, and human
sexuality (it is also appropriate for concurrent enrollment by
graduate students who will be required to do some additional work).
It is designed to offer a thorough grounding in transgender studies:
the evolution of the field; key theoretical frameworks; a survey of
gender-variant practices, identities, and communities; and focused
attention to selected special topics of current interest.
