HPER-R 143 Ice Climbing (1 cr.) Introduces the basics of waterfall
ice climbing in a top rope situation. Topics covered include safety,
gear selection, movement on ice, and perfecting tool and crampon
placements. Highly experience based course where students will
actively participate to learn the ice climbing, belaying skills,
genuine reflection, and Leave No Trace ethics.
