W303 will be conducted as a workshop in poetry writing, with weekly writing assignments.
Students will also be asked to give reports on a book of poetry (post 1980) and on the current
issue of a poetry magazine. David Wojahn has agreed to screen applicants for this course while I
am on sabbatical this fall. Please submit five pages of poetry to his box in Ballantine 442.
