Intermediate Estonian II
Intermediate areas of grammar, (morphology and syntax); vocabulary building through reading in
and outside of class; development of speaking skills by conversation and discussion and oral
presentations in class; practice of writing skills by keeping a weekly journal and writing short
essays; development of listening comprehension skills.

Requirements:
- attend and participate actively in the Estonian language sessions;
- take a weekly test in vocabulary and grammar;
- keep a weekly journal;
- read a newspaper article every week and make an oral presentation in class.
Grading Criteria:
30% attendance, homework, oral presentations
20% weekly tests
20% mid-term exam
30% final exam
Days and Time: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 11:15-12:05.
