About the
Instructor
This course is intended to continue acquainting students with all aspects of the grammar of
modern Uzbek. It will also emphasize translation skills from Uzbek into English through
advanced readings in journalistic and literary prose focusing on the daily life and culture of the
Uzbek people.
Prerequisite: U271 or U453 or the equivalent.
