About the Instructor


This course continues the work done in Intermediate Tibetan I in developing the skills of students already familiar with the basic features of the Tibetan language. Students continue reading selected portions of classical Tibetan texts while they handle both spoken and written modern Tibetan.

Prerequisite: U486 or equivalent.

Exams: Grade based on class performance.

Texts: Skal-bzang 'gyur-med, Bod-kyi brda-sprod rig-pa'i khrid-rgyun rab-gsal me-long, Sichuan Nationalities Publishing House, Chengdu 1983.

Days and Times: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:05-9:55.
