Advanced Estonian II
This course is designed to improve the students' knowledge of Estonian grammar (morphology,
syntax), oral skills (class discussion of newspaper articles, pieces of fiction and poetry, oral
presentations), writing skills (journal writing, summaries of newspaper articles and short essays)
and listening comprehension (TV broadcasts, audio tape recordings).

Requirements:
- attend and participate actively in the Estonian language sessions;
- take weekly tests on grammar and lexis;
- write a weekly journal of 250-300 words;
- write a weekly newspaper article summary (150-200 words).
Grading criteria:
30% attendance, homework, presentations
20% weekly tests
20% mid-term exam
30% final exam
Days and Time: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:05-9:55.
