Anthropology | Anthropological Linguistics II
L502 | 0475 | Le Sourd

This course provides an introduction to the methods that field linguists
use in analyzing their data. This semester, the course will focus on North
American languages of the Siouan and Iroquoian families. We will
investigate aspects of the structure of several languages through close
reading of published grammatical descriptions and investigate the
implications of our findings for research into the history of these
families and their possible genetic relationship.
