This course introduces the student to the investigative process and
examines various methods employed by law enforcement agencies to
identify, develop, preserve, and collect material and
information pertinent to the presentation of a criminal case.  This course
also emphasizes the application of principles elucidated by numerous
sources and attempts to allow the student to draw conclusions on the
relative merit of each approach by classroom participation and
demonstration.

edition, Anderson Publishing Co.
Requirements:  Two tests and a final exam.
Class Meeting: One 120-minute lecture each week (R,
