This course is designed for advanced students of Japanese.  Students will
read and discuss materials selected from a variety of fields.  Students
will also work on a research project on a topic of their interest
throughout the semester.  At the end of the semester, they will share their
work with the class.  The course will also involve visits to class by a few
Japanese professionals.  This course is designed to address individual
needs and at the same time function as a class.
