P: grade of C or better in K301 or equivalent proficiency

The objective of this course is to develop writing and speaking skills, and
especially skills that will allow competent independent reading of as a
variety of texts.  Students will be trained both in close and in rapid
reading comprehension.  Emphasis will be placed on complementing the
students' previous knowledge of Korean, expanding their vocabulary, and
familiarizing them with various communicative settings, particularly
through authentic material.
