General description of the course

Macroeconomics: national income accounting; determination of income,
employment, and the price level in a framework of aggregate demand and
supply.  Design of monetary, financial and fiscal systems and
policies. Adjustment to disturbances in the national and international
economy. Sources of economic growth.
