Topic: Dispatching Vietnam: Representations of the Vietnam War Now and Then
What was, and is, the "Vietnam Syndrome"?  In this course we will look at a
variety of texts that tell different stories about America's involvement
with Vietnam.  Emphasis will be placed upon how these texts attempt to
understand the war in the context of American myths and the development of
popular culture after the war.
