In this course we will analyze the major Italian authors from the
origin of Italian literature to the Early Renaissance.  We will
focus particularly on Dante, Petrarca, Boccaccio, and Machivelli
but we will also read other important writers of the period.  The
textbook/reader will be available at Collegiate Copies.
