CLASS MEETING:
First class meeting, Thursday, December 10, 1998 at WH 101 at 6:00 - 7:30
p.m.
Labs will meet 5:30-7:30 p.m. on either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday at Ski
World on Nashville Road-Highway 46 west. For more information check in

Students are required to attend meetings on January 111, 21, 28 and March 8
at
6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Room to meet in will be announced later.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
American Teaching Method -- ATM Direct Parallel: learn and practice modern
parallel skiing
method through utilization of short skis in graduated lengths
-- starting from short skis and progressing to standard length skis.
LESSON INCLUDES:
One hour of instruction for 5 lessons; twilight ski lift ticket for evening
skiing (5:00 - 10:00 p.m.);
equipment rental (boots, poles, skis).
ABOVE SECTION GRADED ON S/F BASIS ONLY
COST OF COURSE:
$85.00 in addition to tuition fees; paid to the Bursar by first lesson or NO
skiing.
ATTENDANCE POLICY:
Students must check in at the Ski School prior to securing lift tickets.
Students are responsible
for their pass card, which is non-transferable and non-refundable. Students
must be at the lesson
site with equipment at the beginning of class time.
EXAMS:
One written exam
TRANSPORTATION:
Students are responsible for arranging their own transportation to Ski
World.
