I202 India Studies Second-year Hindi II (3 Cr.) - Manring MWF 1:25-2:15

This second semester of intermediate Hindi covers a variety of styles of
contemporary written Hindi.  Students will read folk tales, selections
from the Hindi Ramayana, modern Hindi poetry and short stories, and
selections from current magazines and newspapers. Written assignments will
be based on readings.  In-class discussion of material read will help
students increase conversational fluency.  Meets with I509.
