This course looks at practical issues in the ESL/EFL classroom from the perspectives of both
teachers and learners. Our focus will be primarily on the principles of second language
acquisition and pedagogy that underlie successful classroom practices. We will explore these
principles against the backdrop of theory, research, and accepted language teaching methods.
