| Language Testing
T550 | 2767 | Gradman/howard
This course is designed to give the prospective ESL teacher experience with various types of
language tests. Class time is spent discussing methods of testing language proficiency. The
class develops a langauge testing instrument which is then administered to ESL students and
subsequently analyzed. The course requires class participation, writing test items, outside article
summaries, and a final project. The final project is an analysis of a language test based on
students' performances on that test.
