Mathematics | History of Mathematics
M380 | 2965 | Haile

The History of Mathematics is being offered this spring as a writing based
course giving a broad survey of mathematical history, from the beginning of
mathematics to some of the most recent discoveries.

Students in COAS can use M380 to fulfill their Intensive Writing
requirement. The course should also be especially interesting for
prospective mathematics teachers. The pre-requisite for the course is M212
(or M216). If you have any questions, please contact Darrell Haile at
855-2197 or by email at haile@indiana.edu, or stop by his office at Rawles
229. To enroll in the course stop by the math office (Rawles Hall 115) for
an authorization.
