This course is designed to allow the student to identify normal
and variations of normal in performing physical assessment skills
on adults.  Students practice skills on each other in a
supervised laboratory setting and apply the concepts in a health
assessment framework.

Course Objectives:

Provide an opportunity for the student to:

1.	Perform a health assessment using the techniques of
	inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation.
2.	Identify normals and variations of normal health assessment.
3.	Collaborate with faculty and health members in the
	validation of the health assessment.
