Prerequisites: P101 and P102, or P106
Principles of scientific psychology applied to individual in social
situations.
The course will stress experimental social psychology and laboratory
research rather than applied social psychology.  Theory and general
concepts will be stressed and specific studies will be used as ways to
help students understand theory and concepts.
Text: Smith and Mackie, Social Psychology
Format: Mostly lecture; discussion when possible.  Anyone can break in
anytime to start a discussion.
Tests & Grades: Three or four objective tests.  No comprehensive final.
Test scores alone will determine grades.  If a student does poorly on one
test, but well on the others, this will be taken into account, but no test
score is dropped.
Availability of Instructor: Students may drop in at any time; office hours
will be posted.
