This course is intended to introduce the fundamentals of the study of
perception.  The format of the course will be primarily separated into the
various senses (vision, audition, tactile, olfactory, and taste).  Within
each of these sections we will begin by covering what is known about the
basic physiology, proceed to discussing various problems/phenomena
associated with
the sense and finally examine theories to explain the phenomena.
