S100 Introduction to Sociology     Laubach   2:30-3:45 TR   3596

Sociology is about people interacting with people.  This course
will introduce students to Sociology as a science that studies
how people and groups interact.  We will survey a broad range of
topics from class, race, and gender to social control and social
movements to how identities, beliefs and values are shaped by
social institutions.

Tentative course requirements include regular class
participation, a mid-term, a short paper, and a final.
