This course discusses the nature of law and its business-related
functions, with emphasis on the social forces shaping the law.
The course also focuses on substantive areas of law that businesspeople
employ to achieve their goals, and that affect their pursuit
of those goals.  Specific topics may include negligence and
strict liability, contracts, product liability, antitrust law,
and employment law.  Corporate social responsibility also may
be discussed.
