S428 Applied Spanish Linguistics
P: S310 or S311 or equivalent
This course provides an analysis of the Spanish language from a linguistic
perspective. S428 is organized around the following topics: phonology,
morphology, syntax and orthography. Evaluation will be based on two exams,
homework, class participation, and a cumulative final exam. Graduate
students will write a short paper. Regular daily attendance and
participation are required. This course will be taught in Spanish.
