CLASS MEETING:
Meets one 75 minute lecture/lab four times per week.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
An introduction to the principles of injury prevention.  Lecture and
demonstration
of emergency measures to treat, for example, fractures, sprains, strains,
dislocations, and spinal injuries.  Skill training in bandaging, strapping,
splinting
techniques.

EXAMS:
Two exams and a comprehensive final exam.

GRADING PROCEDURES:
Section exams (30%), Final exam (40%)
