Course format: Daily lectures: 10:20A-11:35A, SE 105 (with some
discussion incorporated).

Requirements:  Biol. L211 is a necessary prerequisite.

Course description: A thorough treatment of our current understanding
of cell biology that integrates the structural and functional features
of cells with their molecular biology and biochemistry.  Eukaryotic
cells are emphasized.

Required text: Geoffrey M. Cooper, "The Cell: A Molecular Approach.

Weekly assignments: Two quizzes per week.

Exams/papers: Midterm, final.
