Prerequisite: Graduate standing with at least one previous course in
Early Childhood Education or consent of instructor.

This course will meet as a two-week intensive session from
June 10-21, M-F, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
As a distance education course for IUB and IUPUI

Course Description: The study of organizational plans for early
childhood programs from infancy - age eight. Course will include
examination and lively discussion of leadership, management, program
philosophy, planning, assessment, fiscal issues, facilities, legal
issues, professional development, and various other aspects of early
childhood administration.

Instructor:  Peggy Apple is an experienced early childhood
administrator and has served as a director of various types of early
childhoodprograms, including private and non-profit. In addition she
has been actively involved as an advocate for professional
development and program accreditation. Prior to beginning her
doctoral work at IUB Peggy was a faculty member at San Antonio
College.
