S333 The Hispanic World (3 credits)
Prerequisite:  S310 or S311 or equivalent
S333 may count for either S331 or S332

	In this course we shall read and study a selection of texts
from Spain and Spanish American written across the centuries.  Our
readings will include short stories, a play, and poetry selections.

	The class grade will be based on the quality of your class
participation, occasional quizzes, performance on oral assignments, a
midterm, and a final examination.

	All the work will be done in Spanish.

NOTE: Credit only given for two of the following:  S331, S332, S333
