Philosophy | Introduction to Philosophy
P100 | 4465 | Gonnerman

This course is an introduction to some of the key themes and
problems in philosophy. We will examine questions such as the
following: How can we know? What is the relation between appearance
and reality? Does God exist? Are there any good arguments either
for or against Godís existence? What kind of things are you and I,
and what is the relation between mind and body? In this course we
will consider these and related questions by reading some central
historical and contemporary works, with a view to developing an
appreciation for the nature of philosophical questions and the
methods philosophers use.
