This field trip crosses the Appalachian Mountains.  Beginning in
eastern Pennsylvania, we will cross the crystalline rocks of the
Blue Ridge and Precambrian in southern New York examining
metamorphic rocks of the Acadian and Alleghanian Orogenies in
southern New England, and near Boston.
