(3 cr.) N&M Introduction to the origin and classification of
minerals and rocks.  Relationships between rock types, rock
structures, surficial geologic processes of running water,
subsurface water, glaciation, wind, tides, and landform evaluation.
Two lectures and one laboratory each week. Credit given for only one
of S103, G103, or G111.
