This course deals with continental and regional variations in
terrain, climate, and economic and social life of the United
States and Canada, with emphasis on geographical principles,
sources of data, and techniques of investigation.  The goals of
this course are 1) to increase and better integrate knowledge of
geographic patterns in North America, and 2) to deepen
understanding of the processes which shape these patterns of the
land.  G326 fulfills the SHSI distribution requirement.
