This is a one semester 3 credit hour course that studies the
celestial sphere and constellations, measurement of time,
astronomical instruments, earth as a planet, the moon,
eclipses, planets and their satellites, comets, meteors,
theories of the origin of the solar system.  There is one
required text for this course.  This course fulfills the
natural and mathematical sciences requirements.  Credit
is not given for both A100 and A110.
