This course is designed to give an overview of the processes involved
in behavioral change.  An organism undergoes these changes throughout
its lifetime.  We will focus on the changes that occur from birth
through adolescence and only briefly discuss the changes involved in
adulthood and aging.  Our focus will be on the major milestones,
theories, and research methodologies in the study of developmental
psychology.
Text:  Child Development; 5th ed, by Laura Berk; Allyn & Bacon.
Grading:  The final grade will consist of 4 exams, quizzes, and
homework assignments.
Absences:  Only University approved absences from exams and quizzes
will be allowed with the proper documentation.  Refer to your student
handbook if you have questions about this policy.
Make-ups:  No make-ups for quizzes.  If you have an excused absence
for an exam day, you will be allowed to take a make-up exam at the end
of the session.
