Summer Session III (June 14-July 2, 1-3:30 p.m.)

This course is directed primarily toward elementary and middle school
teachers and meets 1-3:30 p.m. daily. We will discuss, design, and
participate in environmental education lessons that are appropriate
for the grade levels of participating teachers. These lessons will be
in line with national standards and address the new state standards
in science. Teachers will leave the course having collaboratively
created a packet of instructional materials designed to teach lessons
about environmental issues to their own students. Opportunities for
continued support and action research will also be discussed.
